1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using NomadSIM (nomadsim.co), operated by MB Software Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
NomadSIM offers two products: prepaid mobile top-ups and travel eSIMs. We are not a mobile network operator.
Mobile top-ups: We facilitate the purchase and delivery of data, voice, and SMS bundles for Colombian mobile operators (Claro, Tigo, Movistar) through the Zendit API. Top-ups are delivered electronically to the phone number you provide. Delivery typically occurs within seconds of a successful payment, but may take up to 15 minutes in rare cases.
Travel eSIMs: We sell prepaid mobile data packages sourced from wholesale carrier partners. Each eSIM plan is country-specific, carries a fixed data allowance, and is valid for a fixed period from activation. Delivery is digital — after a successful payment we provision the eSIM profile and email you a QR code and activation instructions. Provisioning is typically near-instant but can take a few minutes.
3. Accounts and Authentication
You may create an account using a passkey, Google OAuth, or magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials and for all activity under your account.
An account is not required for one-time purchases, but is required for subscriptions, transaction history, and the referral program.
4. Payments and Pricing
All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit or debit card details on our servers.
By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the amount displayed at checkout. For recurring subscriptions, you authorize recurring charges at the agreed-upon interval until you cancel.
5. Subscriptions
NomadSIM offers three purchase modes for mobile top-ups:
- One-time: A single top-up with no recurring charges.
- Ongoing: Automatic monthly recharges that continue until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard.
- Fixed-term: Automatic recharges for a set period (e.g., until a departure date). The subscription ends automatically after the specified period.
eSIM purchases are one-time transactions; there are no recurring eSIM subscriptions.
You can manage and cancel top-up subscriptions from your dashboard at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. eSIM Plans — Data, Validity, and Fair Use
Each eSIM plan has a fixed data allowance and a fixed validity window. Data does not roll over — unused data is forfeited when the plan expires. The plan stops working when the validity period ends or when the data allowance is exhausted, whichever comes first.
“Unlimited” plans: Plans marketed as unlimited are not unrestricted. They provide a daily high-speed data cap; once you reach that cap in a given day, your connection speed is reduced (throttled) for the remainder of that day. Full speed resumes at the start of the next calendar day. The specific daily cap is shown on the plan detail page at the time of purchase.
We source eSIM plans from wholesale carrier partners. Coverage, speeds, and network quality are determined by the underlying carrier in each country and may vary by location.
7. eSIM Device Eligibility
eSIMs require a compatible, carrier-unlocked device. Before purchasing, you are responsible for confirming that:
- Your device supports eSIM functionality.
- Your device is carrier-unlocked (not locked to a specific domestic carrier that would block a foreign eSIM profile).
We cannot guarantee compatibility with every device model. Because a successfully provisioned eSIM cannot be refunded (see Section 8), please verify your device's eligibility before completing your purchase. Most modern unlocked smartphones support eSIM, but exceptions exist — check your device manufacturer's specifications if you are unsure.
8. Refund Policy
Mobile top-ups: Because top-ups are digital goods delivered instantly to your phone number, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a top-up has been successfully delivered.
If a top-up fails to deliver, please contact us at support@nomadsim.co. We will investigate and either redeliver the top-up or issue a refund at our discretion.
eSIMs: eSIM plans are pre-paid carrier packages. Once an eSIM has been successfully provisioned and the QR code / activation details delivered to you, the sale is final. We do not offer refunds for unused data, unused validity, early cancellation, or change of mind — including cases where your device turns out to be incompatible after purchase (see Section 7).
eSIM fulfillment failures: If NomadSIM fails to provision your eSIM — that is, if the QR code or activation details are never successfully delivered to you through any fault on our side — you are entitled to a full refund. Contact us at support@nomadsim.co and we will investigate and issue a refund if a fulfillment failure is confirmed.
If you believe a charge was made in error, you may open a dispute with your card issuer. However, we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.
9. Accuracy of Information
Top-ups: You are responsible for providing a correct and active Colombian phone number. We are not liable for top-ups delivered to an incorrect number due to user error.
eSIMs: You are responsible for selecting the correct destination country and for verifying device compatibility before purchase, as described in Section 7.
10. Referral Program
Registered users may receive a unique referral link. Referral tracking allows users to see how many people they have invited. Rewards, if any, are determined at our sole discretion and may change at any time.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
11. Service Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% availability. Top-up delivery and eSIM provisioning depend on third-party providers (Zendit/IDT) and the underlying mobile operators and carriers. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by these third parties.
12. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the service
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service
- Abuse the referral program through fake accounts or self-referrals
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MB Software Studio and NomadSIM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction in question.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
